Wall Praise done and a Haircut!

Yeah! My wall praise is up and I love it. It was a little tricky because I wanted it kind of random and I didn't want to totally work around the furniture in case I move it, but you kind of have to. Anyways, here it is (in reverse order).

Yesterday Gideon had a dentist appointment and we decided to have Leah and Logan stay home with the other kids. Really just Anna and Madeline because I took Asher with me. We let Leah stay home occasionally with the kids these days, but usually not for longer than an hour or so. Usually it is just to run to our local grocery store. So this time was a little different because I was going ALL THE way to Urbana. Gee's appointment was at 4:00 and we did not get home until 6:30. The poor guy had to end up having a root canal. He tooth they were going to fill was totally destroyed inside. They kind of wanted to pull it, but that would affect the tooth coming in next so they did the root canal. Gideon was incredibly brave. Like superboy brave. Our dentist was so impressed. He was laying in that chair for 45 minutes with multiple shots and drilling. The only time he cried was when she was initially drilling (with no Novacane) and he felt it. Even then it was just tears streaming down his face. It really just broke my heart. When all was said and done, he got a spinny toothbrush, a Lightening McQueen car, antibiotics and tons of praise from everyone. Poor guy, today he is very swollen.
Ok, so back to Leah and Logan. I had to run to Walmart to get his script which is why I was so late getting home. The kids were starving (we told them no eating while I was gone), but they did so great. They were all snuggled up on the couch having a Toy Story marathon. I was just sweet that they were all doing something together and having such a nice time. Of course once we got home, Asher and Gideon joined them.

Asher got his first hair cut Saturday. It was a big delimma for me. In some ways I like his crazy hair. I like for it to have some length. I have no desire for Asher to have a major afro, but I have way more options for styles if I let it grow a bit. To be honest I have little to no knowledge on styling African American hair. I just don't to buzz it all the time because I don't want to take the time to work with it a bit.
Anyways, here is the after shot of the back.

The front.

Before shot.

Before shote. This was probably the most problematic area for me. You can't totally tell in the picture, but the hair around his ears was really long. It reminded me of Krusty the Clown.

I like the cut and he looks super cute. I miss the length, but I like how much more even it looks. It has just grown in so very wonky.

Psalms 10:14, 17-18

"You are the helper of the fatherless.  LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more."
